DES Action UK started in December 1989 as a result of the 4 What its Worth television programme called Unto the Second Generation - DES Children shown on Channel 4 in November 1989. For many years we were supported by Women’s Health (previously known as the Women’s Health and Reproductive Rights Information Centre), becoming independent in 1999.
